When the dust collection box is full, a -C- symbol will appear on the display instead of the AQI number, indicating that a complete cleaning is required. Follow these steps:
Pre-filter: Remove and dust off, vacuum, or wash with water to clean.
Electric Curtain: Never allow water contact. Use the special brush included in the product box or a dry sponge to gently wipe and clean the wire frame on both top and bottom surfaces. (Recommended cleaning: every 1-2 months)
Dust Collection Box:
For Airdog X3Pro and X5Pro: The internal components can be separated into 2 additional layers for thorough internal cleaning. Can be washed with plain water or water mixed with mild cleaning solution (mild acid or mild base) to help remove stains or accumulated dust from the collection box.
For Airdog X8Pro Ultra and X1: The dust collection box cannot be disassembled. It is recommended to use the long-bristle brush provided in the product box for cleaning, or use a spray hose with pressure nozzle to spray water inside the chamber, or use a dishwasher for cleaning.
After cleaning, air dry in a shaded area with good ventilation and ensure it is completely dry with no water stains or moisture residue before reassembling and using with the purifier.
Carbon Filter: Never allow water contact. If dust falls from the top air outlet, use a cloth to dust or vacuum it out, then expose to strong sunlight for approximately 3-4 hours to evaporate moisture before using again.
After complete cleaning and reassembling all filters into the device, when turning on for the first time, "press and hold the control button for approximately 5 seconds or until you hear a long beep" to reset the system.
